A Guide To Vaping CBD Oil

Posted by Green Garden Gold on

As CBD oil products have been adopted by people across the country for their multitude of beneficial uses, many people have turned to consuming their CBD in vape form. This is because it is one of the easiest methods available to get your preferred CBD intake amount quickly and on the go.

Receiving your CBD oil supplements through vaporization allows for near-immediate effects compared to other consumption methods, which is another reason why it is highly favored by many CBD supplement consumers. The vapor releases the same yield of active compounds into the bloodstream with all of the positive benefits associated with your CBD oil.

Vaporizing provides a cleaner method for health-conscious consumers to ingest their CBD oil products in a smoke-like manner. This is because the process creates a pure clean vapor by only heating the CBD oil to the exact temperature required for vaporization — which is much lower than the point of combustion that occurs with typical smoking.

If you’re new to the world of vaporizers, let us give you a little background:

Vaporizers are personal electronic devices that use convection with a coil, similar to an oven, to evenly and precisely heat your desired liquid in the tank — in this case, CBD oil. The coils, usually made of kitchen-grade stainless steel or nickel, are wrapped in a Japanese or Egyptian cotton which soaks in the CBD oil. In turn, the coil heats up the cotton until it begins to steam or vaporize the oils out of the cotton and up through the device. These vaporizers are also used to heat and vape nicotine liquids or “juice,” as well as other herbal waxes.

In order for your CBD oil products and other items to be vape-able, they have to be the right consistency or thickness to be absorbed into the cotton that is around the coils of the device. The two types of ingredients used to make this possible are vegetable glycerin (VG) or propylene glycol (PG).

Vegetable glycerin (VG) is a clear, odorless liquid produced from plant oils, such as soy, coconut oil, or palm oil. It is used in a wide variety of skin care and food products, and has a fairly sweet taste. This is the most popularly-used mixture ingredient and is what we blend in our vape-able CBD oil products.

Propylene glycol (PG) is a synthetic organic compound that is what is known to put out the larger “cloud” effect compared to vegetable glycerin. You’ve more than likely already inhaled it from an inhaler, fog machine, or eaten it in ice cream or whipped cream.
